everything plus1 does, in one place.

Plus1 is a noticeboard for mountain bikers. Post a ride, riders near you join, and you meet at the trailhead. Here's every feature, grouped by who it's for, with why it helps. Tap one to see what it does.

questions

Is Plus1 free?

Yes. Finding rides, joining them, hosting and running a group are all free, with no ads. Paid bookings for guides and coaches are coming later.

Do I need the app to see a ride?

No. Every ride and group has a web page anyone can open. To join a ride, check in or add a riding mate, you need the app.

Can people see where I live?

No. When you go out, riders see a rough square, never your exact spot, and you can choose Mates or Just me. Routes on rides hide the first and last 500 metres, unless that end is the ride's meeting point.

How do women's groups work?

A group or ride can be for women or for men. The first time you ask to join one, Plus1 asks once who you're riding as. Only Plus1 sees your answer, and the group's leader still approves you.

What does a group leader see about me?

Your display name (first name and the first letter of your surname), your photo if you've added one, and your riding record. Your email only if you said yes to that group's Keep me posted. Your emergency contact only around the time of a group ride you're going on.
