for hosts
You don't need to run a club to host. Post the ride you were going to do anyway, and riders near you can join. Ride leader, not admin.

Every feature says who it helps: More riders Less admin Easier for riders

Set a ride to repeat every week. Or start from a past ride, with everything filled in but the date.
Post the Tuesday ride once, not every Tuesday.
Save a ride as a draft and publish it when the date's set. Only you, and your group's leaders, can see it.
Get it ready when you've a minute.
Pick more than one discipline for a ride, like MTB and e-MTB.
Everyone can see they're welcome.
Post an update and it's pinned at the top, and everyone going is told. Change the time or place and the update posts itself.
No more "is it still on?"
Post a group ride publicly, or for your group's members only, ride by ride.
Open rides bring new riders. Members' rides stay with your members.
Set how many can come and when joining closes. When it's full, riders join the waiting list, and the next one moves up on their own.
You know your numbers before you leave the house.
Your own wording, or a standard one to start from. Riders agree before they can join, and you see when each one did.
The paperwork's done before anyone turns up.
On group rides, see the emergency contact of each rider going, from the day before until the day after.
No forms to collect, and the number's there if you need it.
Riders can ask for no photos, and you see it next to their name on your riders list.
Everyone's comfortable, so they come back.
Riders can say maybe, and ask before they commit. "OK on a hardtail?" gets answered once, on the ride, for everyone.
Nervous riders ask instead of staying at home.
The day before, riders confirm with one tap, and a place someone gives up goes to the waiting list. Nudge anyone who hasn't answered.
Fewer no-shows, and you didn't chase anyone.
Tick who's here, or hold up the ride's code and riders scan it to check in.
You know exactly who's out with you.
Count people who turn up without Plus1, and show them the Get the app code.
Today's walk-up is next week's rider.
Mark everyone back at the end of the ride.
Nobody's left at the top, and you've a record that says so.
After the ride, who made it is already ticked from check-in. Change anyone with one tap, and undo it if you got it wrong.
Your register writes itself.
Name a sweep, a first-aider and lift drivers, split the ride into pace groups, or add a co-host for this ride only.
Share the load. Nobody gets dropped.
Riders can see how many rides you've run on Plus1, and say Nice one after.
New riders trust a host who's done it before.
No. Anyone can post a ride. Got a route in mind and you'd like company? Post it. If no-one shows, you ride, same as you would have anyway.
To join, yes. To see the ride, no: every ride has a web page anyone can open, so share the link wherever your riders are.
At least six hours before the start, so riders have time to see it and plan.
You are. When you host, you accept the host terms: the ride is yours to run, and so is looking after the riders on it. Plus1 gives you the tools. It doesn't lead the ride.
Yes. Posting, hosting and every tool on this page are free, with no ads.
